NIGERIA:Onitsha Head Bridge Under Lockdown,Inspection of Passengers Manifest

Agency today Tuesday 24th March, 2020, visited bridge head Onitsha to inspect passengers’ manifests of all inter - State commercial buses entering into Anambra state.

Dr. Mmadubuko said that the exercise was in line with Governor Willie Obiano's directive that all persons coming into the state from other parts of the Country, must be documented for easy tracking in case of eventual case of Coronavirus.

The Commissioner equally used the infrared thermometer to check temperatures of inter -state passengers during the exercise.

ABS equally observed that an appreciable number of major inter -state commercial vehicles obeyed the directive.
