Mobile network operator Three UK has partnered with Apple to create a new bundle, which combines their 4G and 5G based unlimited use Home Broadband service with an Apple 4K TV device that also includes one year of free Apple TV+ access (usually £4.99 per month).
The prices for this bundle start at just £27 per month on their 4G based Home Broadband service, which then rises to £34 if you take their 5G based plan on a 24-month contract term. Both come attached to a £29 one-off upfront cost. Sadly, this offer price is only available to new customers (expect it to become £29 (4G) and £36 (5G) from 16/09/20, once the offer ends).
A spokesperson for the operator said, “With Three’s 5G Home Broadband reaching speeds of up to 200Mbps, there is no waiting around. This super speedy package not only provides access to live TV, original shows and movies from Apple TV+ in stunning 4k, but customers can also get it delivered the next day. Meaning there is no need to wait for an engineer visit and no landline required – simply plug in and play.”
One obvious caveat here is that Three’s 5G network currently has very limited UK coverage, although it is now starting to expand a bit more rapidly than earlier in the year. Separately, it’s worth pointing out that Three UK’s unlimited data SIM only (4G and 5G) plan is currently being offered at the reduced price of £11 per month for the first 6 months (£22 per month thereafter) of a 24-month term.
