The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has revealed the reason for still holding on to the Nigerian businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, is still in their custody.
Recall that Obi Cubana was taken to EFCC’s headquarters in Abuja on Monday, November 1, 2021, for interrogations over alleged money laundering and tax fraud.
However, an official of the anti-graft agency revealed that until he meets the conditions for his bail, the interrogation would continue.
“There are many things for which the businessman is being interrogated and until he meets the conditions for his bail, the interrogation would continue,” the official said to Vanguard.
Today marks his fourth day in EFCC’s custody, two days earlier the popular socialite took to his Instagram page to announce that he is still unbroken.
“Okpataozueora! I love you ALL!! UNBROKEN,” he wrote.
