Okeson rewards best Nigerian student in Ghana



The Chairman, Board of Trustee of All Nigeria Community Ghana and Chief Executive of Citylights, Dr. Emma Okeson, has awarded a grant of Ghc1000 to Fatihah Oluabukola Ayinde, who emerged overall best graduating student of 2018/2019 set of the Islamic University College, Ghana, and James Olabode, who emerged the best graduating student of the HRM Department Knutsford University, Ghana.
The prize is awarded to any Nigerian student with exemplary academic records in Ghana.
Before now, Okeson was pivotal in securing a befitting secretariat for All Nigeria Community Ghana (ANC-Ghana), the umbrella association of the about two million Nigerians resident in Ghana.

Citylights also sponsored the first Miss Nigeria, Ghana pageant in Ghana with a brand new Kia Picanto in 2012, an event endorsed by the Nigeria High Commission and aimed at showcasing the diverse and rich cultural heritage of the Nigerian nation in Ghana.

With a pet project geared towards the appreciation of the kindness of Ghanaians as a good host to Nigerians resident in the country.
