So according eye witness, some unarmed protesters walked to Orji Police station and while they made moves to free detainees at the station, the police shot at them, but the bullets never hurt them.
When the shooting wasn't working out, the officers took to their heels.
The guys freed everyone detained at the police station and set it ablaze.
So far, it seems nothing will be recovered from that police station.
A police van carrying about 7 mobile police officers arrived a while ago and everyone watching the flames took to their heels.
People living as far as Akwakuma can see the flames while others living in other parts of Orji could hear the gunshots as if it was at their backyards. By Igbotic Hardy
