This effort stems from an agreement between Ghana and the United States, allowing the return of third-party nationals specifically from West Africa through Ghanaian territory.
The President confirmed that the agreement had been activated, with the first batch of fourteen individuals arriving in Ghana. Among them were several Nigerian nationals, whom Ghana promptly assisted in returning to their home country.
